In partnership with the Concord Chamber of Commerce, the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire proudly welcomes the Consul General of Portugal in Boston, Tiago Araujo, to discuss opportunities for connections between New Hampshire and Portugal.
About the Speakers
Tiago Araújo: Born in Mozambique, Araújo, 48, brings a wealth of experience and insight to his role as Consul General. He holds a degree in Public Administration and Management from the University of Lisbon and a Master's in Political Science and International Relations from the Portuguese Catholic University. With a distinguished diplomatic career, Araújo's expertise includes postings at the Portuguese Embassy in Vienna (2014-2017) and London (2009-2014). He has also served in key roles at the Directorate-General for Technical and Economic Affairs and the Directorate-General for Consular Affairs and Portuguese Communities. This a unique opportunity to connect with Consul General Araújo and learn more about Portugal’s role in fostering international collaboration and cultural exchange. Portugal, a nation on Europe’s Iberian Peninsula, has a diverse economy fueled by tourism, technology, agriculture, and renewable energy.
