Strengthening the

Trans-Atlantic Partnership:

A View from Europe

What will the relationship between the United States and Europe look like in a world defined by growing competition and uncertainty? Join the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire and the Warren B. Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership, and Public Service at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law on September 25 for a timely conversation on the future of one of the world’s most important partnerships.

For more than 75 years, the United States and Europe have worked together through wars, economic crises, and global challenges, building a partnership rooted in shared values and common interests. Today, that relationship faces new pressures as geopolitical competition intensifies, economic priorities shift, and the global order evolves.

This moderated Q&A will explore a European perspective on how the United States and Europe can adapt their partnership for a changing world—not as competitors in a zero-sum contest, but as partners capable of advancing shared security, prosperity, and democratic values.

Whether you follow international affairs closely or simply want to better understand the forces shaping our world, this conversation will offer valuable insight into why the U.S.-European relationship matters both abroad and at home.

Doors will open for this event at 11:30 am, with a light lunch provided.
