Due to the cancellation of all WACNH in-person events until at least mid-May because of COVID-19, we are happy to be launching WACNH Live! This series of virtual events will feature several of our originally planned upcoming speakers presenting on important international topics, straight to you at home.
On Tuesday (5/19) at 4pm, join us in hearing from Tom Hart, Executive Director of North America for the ONE Campaign. Hart will be discussing ONE's mission, international projects, and its current work campaigning for the implementation of a comprehensive Global Pandemic Response Plan to fight COVID-19 and be better prepared for future pandemics. More About Tom Hart

Tom Hart is the North American Executive Director of ONE, and is responsible for ONE’s advocacy, communications and campaign activities in the United States and Canada. Tom leads a professional, bipartisan team dedicated to proposing and passing government policies to fight disease, hunger and poverty, mostly in Africa.
Previously, Tom was the Senior Director of Government Relations at ONE. In this role, Tom devised and executed ONE’s government relations strategy for the US and Canada. Tom and his team led the way on unprecedented increases in development assistance by the United States, including historic increases in funding for HIV/AIDS, malaria, and TB through PEPFAR and the Global Fund, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and more.
Before joining ONE, Tom was the Director of Government Relations for the Episcopal Church, USA, and an aide to Senators Alan Cranston and Jay Rockefeller.
