Local Impact, Global Trade

With the imposition of 10% tariffs across the board on all Chinese goods coming to the United States and China implementing targeted tariffs on U.S. exports, the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire reached out to a local business leader to discuss impacts and future plans. Kevin Kahn, owner of K2 Industrial Components, joined WACNH Executive Director, Tim Horgan, to provide his insights into how the volatile relationship has impacted his business. He also shares how the potential for a back and forth cycle of retaliatory tariffs can affect his global positioning and outlook. This is a great opportunity to look at how global polices can impact local businesses, jobs, and economies.
