Join the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire in hearing from Sasha Baker, speaking on behalf of the Elizabeth Warren 2020 Presidential Campaign.

As part of the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire's ongoing efforts to engage citizens in discussions about Foreign Policy, the Council has extended invitations to all Presidential Campaigns to discuss their policies in regards to international relations. New Hampshire plays a special role in vetting the candidates and the citizens of the state need to understand all aspects of different campaign platforms. This is your opportunity to hear from and ask questions of Sasha Baker of the Elizabeth Warren campaign about the issues Warren will focus on as President and where she sees the US's role in the world.

About Sasha Baker


Sasha Baker currently serves as the Deputy Policy Director for foreign policy for Warren for President, Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 2020 presidential campaign. Prior to joining the campaign, Sasha served in a similar role in Senator Warren's senate office.

Previously, Sasha was Deputy Chief of Staff to Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, whom she advised on acquisition and technology innovation and preparation of the Department of Defense budget. Sasha also served as career budget analyst at the White House Office of Management and Budget, joining as a Presidential Management Fellow and serving in the Homeland Security and National Security divisions and later as Special Assistant to the OMB Director. While at OMB, Sasha completed a detail to the Joint Staff as a Special Assistant for Strategy to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff with a focus on the defense budget. After several years in the private sector, Sasha began her public service career at the House Armed Services Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, where she supported bipartisan congressional reviews on a variety of national security topics.

Sasha holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she was an International and Global Affairs Fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. She is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a recipient of the Department of Defense Distinguished Public Service Medal.
