International Businesswoman Award 2025

Value Statement

The International Businesswoman of the Year Award was created by the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire in 2022 to celebrate the power of women in business to change the world, both professionally and personally. Recognizing the unique challenges women face in the global business community, each nominee demonstrates an innate capacity to overcome obstacles and build successful international connections. While nominees come from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and sectors, they all demonstrate the characteristics of a leader – principles, drive, innovation, courage, and open-mindedness.

About the Award

The International Business Woman of the Year Award recognizes a New Hampshire woman making a significant impact in the global arena. While many honorees come from the business world, we also welcome nominations of women leading international work through non-profits, education, public service, or other sectors. Whether through trade, diplomacy, humanitarian efforts, or global partnerships, this award honors those whose work connects New Hampshire to the wider world and contributes to international understanding and progress.

We invite nominations of women who:

  • Reside in or have strong ties to New Hampshire
  • Are advancing international engagement, cooperation, or influence through their work
  • Demonstrate leadership, innovation, and impact in the global sphere—whether in business, civil society, government, or other domains
