
| U.S. Leadership and Law Enforcement - May 12 - 15, 2026 In May, New Hampshire will welcome international professionals from Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Finland, Guyana, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Maldives, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Slovakia, Spain, Thailand, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom to explore U.S. approaches to law enforcement leadership, training, and community engagement. Participants will examine how state and local agencies collaborate on complex investigations, how officers are trained and certified, and how community-based strategies support crime prevention and build public trust. Through meetings with law enforcement agencies, training institutions, and community programs, the group will gain insight into innovative approaches such as youth engagement, victim support, and targeted community policing, while also reflecting on best practices that can be adapted in their home countries. U.S. Leadership and Law Enforcement - May 24 - 27, 2026 From May 24–27, New Hampshire will welcome international professionals from the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay to explore U.S. approaches to law enforcement training, certification, and the use of animal units in policing. Participants will examine how agencies incorporate K-9 and mounted units into both operational work and community engagement, as well as how standardized training ensures professionalism and consistency across departments. Through meetings with local law enforcement, training institutions, and community-based programs, the group will gain insight into innovative approaches such as comfort dogs supporting victims, animal-assisted rehabilitation programs for youth, and public-facing policing strategies. The program will also include opportunities to experience community traditions over Memorial Day weekend, offering additional context on civic engagement and public service in the United States. |
