Ukraine Members of Parliament - Pending rescheduling

In March, we have the honor of hosting our first in-person project for 2024 in New Hampshire. Organized by the Congressional Office of International Leadership (COIL), this transformative initiative brings together five esteemed Members of Parliament from Ukraine. During their stay, our Ukrainian guests will not only engage in vital discussions with local officials on legislative integrity, citizen protection, and governance transparency, but they will also experience the warmth and hospitality of our local community. By staying in the homes of our fellow community members, they'll have the unique opportunity to forge personal connections and gain a deeper understanding of American life.

Human & Civil Rights for Marginalized Communities - April 30th - May 4th

We are excited to host nine international visitors from Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Rwanda, South Africa, and South Sudan. These human rights activists will participate in meetings to learn about best practices for preventing and addressing violations against marginalized communities, document abuses, and advocate for the rule of law. They will also discuss strategies to reform discriminatory laws, develop public education campaigns promoting tolerance, and examine interfaith dialogue in at-risk communities. Participants will meet with multiple New Hampshire organizations dedicated to advancing equality, dignity, and rights.

WEAmericas Program: Supporting Women Entrepreneurs - May 8th

We are delighted to host fifteen women entrepreneurs from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua as part of the WEAmericas Program. This visit will provide them with a unique opportunity to examine the roles of government, the private sector, business and women’s networks, and non-governmental organizations in promoting women-owned businesses. Through confirmed meetings at the Devine Millimet Business Launch Initiative, the Center for Women's Enterprise, and TECHmarc Labs, Inc., the participants will explore how women-owned businesses contribute to economic development, democratization, and stabilization globally. Additionally, they will discuss the social, economic, and political factors in the United States that influence and encourage private enterprise, gaining insights to support the growth of their businesses in their home countries.

Combating Illegal Fishing off the Coasts of Africa - May 23rd - May 30th 

We are pleased to welcome seven visitors from Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Morocco, Senegal, and Sierra Leone for a focused discussion on combating illegal fishing. During their stay, the group will explore enforcement strategies, state-level efforts to combat illegal fishing, and the broader issues impacting the industry. They will engage with multiple organizations dedicated to regulatory approaches, sustainability strategies, and collaborative efforts within the sector. These meetings will highlight the role of different stakeholders in preserving marine resources and promoting sustainable practices, aiming to foster a comprehensive understanding and encourage international cooperation.

Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development II - June 1st - June 5th

We are excited to welcome twelve visitors from the Bahamas, Bahrain, Brazil, Egypt, Ghana, India, Iraq, Israel, Morocco, Nepal, Palestinian Territories, and Saudi Arabia to explore the role of small business in driving economic growth. This project will focus on how entrepreneurial success can be achieved and maintained, examining various business models, and highlighting the essential skills needed. Participants will engage in discussions and site visits to assess the social, economic, legal, and political factors that foster private enterprise, including innovation and access to credit. They will also explore the expanding opportunities through the Internet and global marketplaces, meet with local entrepreneurs, and visit business incubators and innovation hubs to see these dynamics in action.

New Hampshire in Adaptive Sports Exchange Program June 10th - June 15th 

In June, we will host our first Youth Exchange Program as part of the U.S. Department of State's Sports Diplomacy initiatives in Concord, New Hampshire. This Adaptive Sports Exchange Program, organized in collaboration with FHI 360 and the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, will welcome fifteen youth and three coaches from Kyrgyzstan, The Gambia, and Serbia. During their visit, participants will engage in a series of activities designed to educate them about the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and involve them in various adaptive sports. They will partake in hiking, climbing, and kayaking, all tailored for people with disabilities, to enhance their leadership skills and deepen their understanding of adaptive sports. This program aims to foster disability rights and advocacy among international youth.
