MANCHESTER, NHOn March 13 the community is invited for a presentation aimed at breaking down barriers of misunderstanding, as three women of the Muslim faith will speak about their various experiences.

Interfaith logo“I am a Muslim Woman: Conversations with local Muslim Women,” will begin at 6:45 p.m. at St. Catherine School auditorium, 206 North Street in Manchester. Click here for directions.

Presenters include Masooma, a Pakistani woman who will give an overview of Islam; Munise, from Turkey, who will talk about the rights of Muslim women and men; and Riman, from Syria, who will talk about education of Muslim women, and more.

Refreshments and conversation to follow. Registration begins at 6:15 p.m.

The program is presented by Interfaith Women of NH, who gather regularly and present programming meant to share religious beliefs, cultures, and traditions among women of diverse faiths in order to develop understanding and friendship between all living in our community.
